GTA 6 Official Trailer 1

Grand Theft Auto VI will be released in 2025.

Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet. Coming 2025 to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

It’s been nearly 10 months since that GTA VI trailer and fans will be hoping that the second trailer is around the next corner. It would make sense for Rockstar Games to release the second trailer a year to the date of the original but there seems to be a chance that it could arrive within days.

As reported by Daily Star, in a GTA Online event last July, eagle-eyed gamers spotted a licence plate that read “OCT 4” and at the time, many believed that this could be the day the next GTA VI trailer arrives.

If true, that would mean that the next GTA VI trailer will arrive this coming Wednesday. What’s more, Rockstar Games is also advertising a job vacancy for a Screen Capture Artist to help create upcoming marketing campaigns.

It would be a safe assumption to make that this would-be applicant will be helping to promote GTA VI and what better way to help promote the game than to release another trailer before 2024 comes to an end?

“Rockstar Dundee is seeking a Screenshot Capture Artist. This position is responsible for capturing still footage of gameplay for use in marketing campaigns as well as in the games themselves,” reads the job description in question.

Of course, no matter how much two and two is adding up, we should always take speculation with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise but when we get solid confirmation, we’ll be sure to update you right away.

Grand Theft Auto 6’s second trailer may launch soon. As excitement for the upcoming open-world game from Rockstar Games increases among fans, rumours suggest that the second trailer for the highly anticipated GTA 6 is coming soon.

The speculation started after a fan spotted “OCT 4” on a delivery bike’s licence plate in a recent GTA Online update. This has led many to believe that Rockstar plans to drop the new trailer on October 4 (Friday), which is a few days away.

Rockstar ramping up marketing efforts

Rockstar recently has officially announced plans to intensify its marketing push for GTA 6. This suggests that the studio is actively gearing up for the game’s launch, and the rumoured trailer release could be part of that larger strategy.

According to a report by Daily Express, Rockstar Dundee is seeking a Screenshot Capture Artist to join their team in Scotland. This candidate will be tasked with creating captivating still images from the game to be used in marketing and promotional materials.

GTA 6: What we know so far

Rockstar released the first official trailer of GTA 6 in December 2023 and has confirmed that the game is set on its fall (autumn) 2025 launch schedule. The first trailer for GTA 6 showed aerial shots of several in-game locations, including areas inspired by the Florida Keys, a beachfront, and other spots. The game will take place in the state of Leonida, which is based on Florida. The trailer also offered a glimpse of a new feature that may expand the scope of the game and take it to new levels of scale and complexity.

Rockstar has explained: “Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
